MDTC TO HOST ACT PREP WORKSHOP

Mid-Del Technology Center will host a two-day ACT  Prep Workshop for Mid-Del students on Tuesday, March 30, 3:30 – 6:30 p.m. and Thursday, April 1, 3:30 – 6:30 p.m. 

The workshop will focus on all academic areas of the ACT test.   Krystal Ross and Shelly Harris will be the workshop facilitators.

Interested students should call Tammy Richison, at 739-1707, Ext. 383, or come by Mid-Del Technology Center’s main campus at 1621 Maple Drive to reserve their place in class.  The workshop is free to Mid-Del students.

Free Tutoring for MDTC High School Students

Mid-Del Public School High School students who attend Mid-Del Technology Center can receive free tutoring at Rose State College.  Tutoring is available in most general subject areas.  There is no cost for Mid-Del High School students.  Hours for tutoring are flexible.  Tutors are available: Monday-Thursday 8am to 10pm; Friday 8am to 5pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm. Mid-Del Technology Center is now accepting applications for high school students and adults interested in attending Mid-Del Technology Center for the spring semester of  school year 2009-10. If you are a 2008-09 Mid-Del Public School graduate, you can apply for the Mid-Del Technology Center “Next-Step” Scholarship.   For information on Career Majors offered at MDTC, click on the “Full Time Career Majors” icon located on the MDTC website.  For Mid-Del secondary students interested in attending MDTC, please contact Christa Simmons, secondary counselor at 405-739-1707 ext. 320 or ctsimmons@mid-del.net. MDTC HOLDS BULLYING PREVENTION AWARENESS WEEK

MDTC STUDENTS HOST CANNED FOOD DRIVE

Mid-Del Technology Center’s Business Professionals of America (BPA) recently conducted the annual all school canned food drive.  Students at Mid-Del Technology Center donated 900 cans this year for the Mid-Del Food Pantry in Midwest City.

All students should be congratulated for a great job of giving to the Midwest City – Del City communities.
